Community Center Flood in The Bronx, NY

Due to a pipe burst, this community center in The Bronx encountered serious water damage that affected the carpet. No contents were affected. When SERVPRO of South Bronx experts arrived, there was a significate amount of standing water. Experts extracted all standing water which took about 3 hours. Once all standing water was removed, experts then used dehumidifiers to dry out all wet surfaces. After all wet surfaces were dried out, the equipment was removed and SERVPRO of South Bronx experts disposed the carpet and laid down new padding along with a new carpet. In total, the restoration process took exactly 3 days and the Director was amazed by the worked that was preformed.
