Sewage Backup In Astoria, NY

The before photo shows the aftermath of a sewage back up in Astoria, NY. This was caused by a pipe burst. The water was about six inches deep and flooded the whole house. SERVPRO first extracted the contaminated water followed up sanitizing the floor. Afterwards, SERVPRO applied Antimicrobial to kill and stop potential mold growth. Also, we applied a floor cleaner to wipe out any unwanted odor an to give a refreshing smell. The after picture was taken only two days after the incident. Our customer expected the clean up to take much longer and she was thrilled with how quickly the job was done as well as the results.
